Decennial ISA Convention
In June 2008, the ISA marked its Decennial Convention, which coincided with the sixtieth anniversary of both the State and the Agency. The convention was held at the Armored Corps Memorial at Latrun, with the attendance of the President of the state, ministers and Knesset members, the state legal counsel, other honored guests, bereaved families, current and past employees of the ISA and their husbands and wives.
Yuval Diskin - ISA Director

The convention marked sixty years of the state of Israel and of the ISA, and included a salute to the past and current employees of the ISA, in gratitude for their work, their contribution and their commitment over the years. The orientation of the convention was intergenerational: The heritage of the past was presented to the current generation, and the activities and work of the current generation were presented to the past generations. The convention was another element in the ISA's commemoration of its sixtieth anniversary, emphasizing the intertwined heritages of the ISA and that of the state, the land and the people.

The event at Latrun included a social gathering, introductions, addresses, and a central multimedia presentation that included presentations and films about the heritage of the ISA and about its current activity. The presentation was created by a combination of internal talents (a choir of ISA employees, a presentation created by employees and their children) and the participation of artists.
