At the same time, a slight decrease in the number of attacks was registered in Jerusalem: 21, compared to 24 in April. The level of attacks in the Gaza Strip remained similar to last month's: 10 attacks in May, compared to 9 in April.
Six Israelis were injured in terrorist attacks in May. One civilian and three security personnel were injured in incidents involving throwing of object/ stone and firebombs in Judea and Jerusalem (on May 2 and May 15). Two security personnel were injured by small arms fire on the Gaza Strip border (on May 23).
