Data regarding casualties in terrorist attacks
Throughout October 6 Israelis were injured in attacks (as opposed to 2 in September). Below are the details of the attacks:
• 2 security personnel injured in two stabbing attacks: in Jerusalem (Oct. 5) and in Kalandia, north of Jerusalem (Oct. 25).
• 2 civilians and 2 security personnel injured in 3 Molotov cocktail throwings in Judea and Jerusalem (Oct. 2, 17, 25) and throwing of stones/objects in Jerusalem (Oct. 11).
Data regarding terrorist attacks in October
October maintains a high number of attacks despite some decline in comparison with September: 85 attacks as opposed to 95 in September and 53 in August.
Distribution of attacks according to regions: 42 attacks in the West Bank (as opposed to 38 in September); 20 attacks in the Gaza Strip (as opposed to 45 in September), and 23 attacks in the Jerusalem area (as opposed to 12 in September).
In the West Bank and Jerusalem – this month most attacks (58 out of 65) were in the form of hurling Molotov cocktails (last month: 45 out of 50).

The Gaza Strip – 20 attacks (as opposed to 45 last month): 9 rocket launchings, 7 mortar shell launchings, 4 small arms shootings.
The West Bank and Jerusalem – 65 attacks (as opposed to 50 last month): 2 explosive devices; 2 stabbing (one in Jerusalem), 3 stone/object throwing attacks (one in Jerusalem), and 58 Molotov cocktail throwings (21 in Jerusalem).
