Operation "Cast Lead"
Monthly Summary – November 2010
November has demonstrated a slight increase in the number of attacks as opposed to October: 52 attacks compared to 44 in October. We have seen, for the first time since Operation Cast Lead, a launching of a Grad rocket towards Ofakim.

The increase in the number of attacks this month is prominent in the area of Jerusalem (10 attacks as opposed to 6 in October) and the Gaza Strip (22 attacks as opposed to 18 in October). The Judea and Samaria area has been maintaining a similar number of attacks (20).

With regard to casualties in terror attacks, there were no fatalities in November, much like in September and October. One Israeli citizen was injured (November 18) as a result of an object/stone thrown at him in Judea, much like in October in which an Israeli officer was injured as a result of a firebomb in Jerusalem.
