Throughout December one Israeli citizen was killed in a small arms shooting attack near Shavei Shomron (December 24), and three other Israelis were injured (similar to last month) in three different attacks. Below are the details of the attacks:
• December 12 – one Israeli woman was injured in a stabbing attack near Gush Etzion (Judea).
• December 24 – one Israeli was injured as a result of a stone/object cast on him.
• December 27 – one Israeli woman was injured as a result of a Molotov cocktail throwing attack in Judea.

December demonstrates an increase in the number of attacks compared to November: 51 attacks as opposed to 43 in November. The increase is a result of a rise in the number of attacks in the Gaza Strip, mainly small arms shootings near the sim line, and in Jerusalem.
