This data is updated regularly and includes much information regarding terror attacks which have occurred in Israel since the outbreak of the Al-Aqsa Intifada on September 29, 2000. Here you may also find a variety of reports presenting various trends and aspects of Palestinian terror.

August 2011 has seen a significant increase in the number of attacks: 178 attacks as opposed to 53 in July (of which 134 were high trajectory shooting attacks, where rockets and mortar shells were launched).

December has seen a significant increase in the number of attacks compared to November: 81 attacks as opposed to 44 in November. Most attacks (48) were in the form of firebomb throwing.

November has seen a significant decrease in the number of attacks: 44 attacks, as opposed to 80 in October. The decrease is especially salient in the number of attacks coming from the Gaza Strip: 11 attacks, as opposed to 46 in October.

July 2011 has seen a slight increase in the number of attacks: 53 attacks as opposed to 47 in June. Despite the increase, compared to previous months (72 in May, 101 in April, and 128 in March), it is still a rather low figure.

May 2011 has seen a significant decrease in the number of attacks: 72 attacks, as opposed to 101 attacks in April and 128 in March. The decrease is especially salient in the number of attacks coming from the Gaza Strip (three attacks, as opposed to 66 in April).

April 2011 has seen a decrease in the number of attacks compared to March: 101 attacks, as opposed to 128 attacks in March 2011. Despite the decrease, this is a rather high number of attacks compared to late 2010-early 2011 (December 2010: 74; January 2011: 83; February 2011: 61).

March 2011 has seen a significant increase in the number of attacks compared to recent months: 128 attacks as opposed to 61 in February and 83 in January 2011. During the last year only March 2010 has a record of 125 attacks, whereas the rest of 2010 and beginning of 2011 has seen many less attacks.

February 2011 has seen a decrease in the number of attacks compared to previous month: 61 attacks as opposed to 83 in January. The decrease was salient in the Gaza Strip (18 attacks as opposed to 30 in January) and in the Judea and Samaria (23 attacks as opposed to 33).
